On September 4, 2023, in Catalonia, Spain, a 26-year-old man was arrested for disseminating manuals on making firearms via 3D printers and for promoting hate speech based on ethnicity, political allegiance, and gender identity. The Catalan police, Mossos d’Esquadra, apprehended him in Lloret de Mar, north of Barcelona, following his alleged illegal activities on social media, full of xenophobia and homophobia. During a search of his home, a carbine-type firearm, ammunition, far-right manuscripts, a 3D printer, stolen items from the Department of Equality of Lloret de Mar, and emblems related to the dictatorial era of Franco were discovered.
