Liverpool FC celebrates LGBT History Month
Initiatives to Champion Equality
Throughout February, Liverpool FC has embraced LGBT+ History Month by organizing a range of events and activities designed to reinforce its dedication to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
This year’s celebration is particularly significant as it marks the fifth anniversary of Red Together, the club’s long-standing initiative focused on fostering an inclusive and welcoming space for all.

Becky Easton reflected on her journey as a player and the evolution of women’s football, emphasizing the importance of preserving its welcoming atmosphere amid its growing popularity.
Neil Mellor spoke about the vital role of visibility and support in sports, while also recognizing that more work is needed to achieve full inclusion.
Cassie Rattray highlighted the significant role of supporter culture in fostering a safe and representative environment for all fans.
